# Check health

Check an edge's readiness without an API key. The route returns plain text and uses the same test as getHealth.

Authentication: No authentication.

## Responses

### 200

Returns `ok` as plain text when the edge is ready to accept sends, not when landing is guaranteed. No API key is required. The [ZeroCopy Agent](/agent/http) reports its own state.

Returns `unhealthy` as plain text when the edge is not ready, using the same readiness test as [getHealth](/api/health).
