Overview
Receive raw Solana shreds over UDP, request delivery in the available metros and prepare your application to process the stream.
Shredstream pushes raw Solana shreds over UDP to receivers set up for your team. A receiver is a public IPv4 address and UDP port in one metro, and that metro's edge sends to it.
Access is offered on request. Request Shredstream in the console; ZeroCopy sets up the receivers for your team. See the pricing page for the current rate per receiver IP per metro. Usage is billed from prepaid credit.
Metros
Request delivery in these six metros:
| Metro | Identifier |
|---|---|
| Frankfurt | fra |
| Amsterdam | ams |
| London | lon |
| New York | nyc |
| Los Angeles | lax |
| Tokyo | tyo |
Singapore is planned and is not available for receiver setup.
How delivery works
ZeroCopy provides the source addresses for the metros you select. Allowlist those addresses and open each receiver's UDP port. Delivery starts once the receiver is active.
Each UDP datagram contains one shred, byte for byte as the leader signed it. Shreds arrive from the edge before replay. Your application verifies the shreds and reconstructs the block, then replays it and confirms at the commitment it needs before acting.
UDP delivery has no ordering or retransmission. Shreds can be incomplete, duplicated or from skipped slots. Receiving a shred does not establish that a transaction executed or was confirmed. See processing the stream.

- Request access for your team and selected metros.
- Prepare the receiver and its firewall.
