Telemetry

The operational information the licensed agent reports to ZeroCopy.

Telemetry is part of the licensed agent and is covered by your license agreement.

Network access

Reporting uses the agent's region connection and needs no separate firewall rule. Keep the required outbound access available.

What it reports

CategoryInformation
Agent and hostRelease, host name, operating system, kernel, architecture, CPU and memory information, uptime, region configuration and local listen addresses
RequestsCounts, outcomes and response latency by interface, plus forwarding results
ConnectionsRegion latency, region changes and connection failures, local connection counts and client activity counters
Updates and logsRelease changes, failed updates, warning and error log lines with their fields

The agent also writes logs to standard output. With the service example, read them using journalctl -u swqos. Include relevant lines unchanged when contacting support.

Transaction privacy

Telemetry does not include transaction bytes, signatures, bundle contents or request bodies. It does not include the IPC socket path or the full contents of your configuration file.
