SWQoS agent
Submit signed transactions and bundles through a local process on your Linux host.
The SWQoS agent runs beside your application and accepts signed transactions and bundles over local HTTP, QUIC or shared-memory IPC. Contact support for an executable licensed to your organization.
| Interface | Address in these guides | Guide |
|---|---|---|
| HTTP and JSON-RPC | http://127.0.0.1:8080 | Local HTTP and JSON-RPC |
| QUIC | UDP 127.0.0.1:4433 | Local QUIC |
| Shared-memory IPC | /run/swqos/swqos.sock | Use IPC |
Protect local access
The listeners do not authenticate callers. Anyone who can reach them can submit transactions and incur charges on your account. Keep HTTP and QUIC on loopback and restrict access to the IPC socket.
Set up the agent
- Check the requirements.
- Install your licensed executable and configuration.
- Run the
--canarycheck, then start the service. - Connect your application using one of the interfaces above.
The agent includes automatic updates and telemetry. Local clients must reconnect after a restart or update.
Sending
Use the same signed transactions, bundles and tip requirements as on a hosted endpoint. The agent selects a region automatically and reconnects when a connection fails. You can pin regions if you need to restrict that choice.
Use requests with replies while integrating. Requests without replies cannot tell you about refusals. The agent does not keep resubmitting a transaction after it answers; your application owns confirmation and retries.
What an accepted reply means
An accepted reply means the agent accepted the request for forwarding, not that it landed. Check transaction signatures with your Solana RPC provider.
A timeout, disconnection or rejection does not always prove that the transaction was never forwarded. Check its signature before sending a replacement. Failover may submit the same bytes more than once, so do not assume exactly-once delivery.
Before sending
Fetch blockhashes and check transaction outcomes with your Solana RPC provider. Use a hosted endpoint for getTipFloor.
If you use declared tips, arrange billing with support before sending them.
